Presentation Abstract:
Gallup has found that 70% of US workers are disengaged and 18% of these workers are actively endeavoring against their employers. This disengagement results in a loss in productivity that costs US Businesses over $450 Billion annually and the trend is not improving. Additionally, 70% of the factors that lead to employee disengagement are the responsibility of company leadership. However, only 1 in 10 leaders are equipped to make the changes necessary to remedy the problem. For project leaders that understand the importance of engaged project teams, the payoff is massive for them and the companies for which they work.
Learning Objectives:
1. Clear evidence on where leadership is failing currently.
2. How we got to this place.
3. A workable framework for how to change our paradigm surrounding leadership
4. An applicable skill (coaching conversations) that you can use after the session to begin moving your projects and your organization in the right direction.
