Angelia “Lia” Gil, MS, CCMP, CHES
Senior Consultant for Organizational Change
Lia is the Senior Consultant for Organizational Change at the Department of Health & Environmental Control in South Carolina. In this role she is responsible for using data-driven solutions to address people dependent factors across enterprise-wide projects. Lia uses customized communication plans, culture champion networks, resistance management plans and leadership alignment strategies; all to ensure that the impacted audience is prepared, equipped and supported throughout their change journey. Her goal is to create a comprehensive culture of innovation & inclusion that helps stakeholders to change their mind, instead of minding the change. Lia has worked in the Public Health field for 10 years. She holds a master’s degree in health promotion and a bachelor’s in communications, both from Mississippi State University. Lia is both a Certified Health Education Specialist, and a Certified Change Manage Professional. A fun fact about Lia is that she was once a television news producer, and she is currently learning salsa!
