Dr. F. Roosevelt Gilliam III, MD, FACP, FACC, FHRS
USC Clinical Professor of Medicine, Prisma Health
F. Roosevelt Gilliam III MD graduated Duke University School of Medicine earning the MD degree and completed training in Internal Medicine, Cardiovascular Diseases and Clinical Cardiac Electrophysiology. He has practiced medicine approaching 40 years in the private as well as the academic environment. He is now clinical professor of Medicine with the University of South Carolina School of Medicine and practices Cardiology in Sumter, SC at Prisma Health Tuomey Medical Center where he serves as Department Chair of Internal Medicine and Chief of Cardiology. He is part of the COVID-19 team at Prisma Health Tuomey Hospital to address the crisis.
