PRESENTATION SUMMARY
Are you waiting for your next promotion, new job, or retirement to be happy? Did you know the research shows that happiness drives success and not the other way around? When we are positive, our brains become more engaged, creative, motivated, energetic, resilient, and productive at work. By studying the bottom lines of organizations worldwide, this discovery has been validated many times. Using research illuminated by Shawn Achor in "The Happiness Advantage," we will explore the basis of positive psychology for workplace success.
LEARNING OBJECTIVES:
• Positive Psychology at Work: Understanding the formula on how positive psychology can increase productivity and profitability.
• Seven Principles: Learn seven specific, actionable and proven patterns that can predict success and achievement.
• The Ripple Effect: Learn techniques to change behavior long term and positively affect those around you.
