After spending seven weeks in West Africa on several projects and teaching project management there, Mac Curfman has learned many lessons on managing international projects. In this session, he will discuss how to conduct successful projects abroad. You will learn to enjoy the unknown, the chaos, and the people. During this interactive session, Mac will review his projects and introduce you to some Senegalese people using pre-recorded video clips.

Well-traveled, Mac thrives in diverse cultures. He has traveled to and worked in 46 U.S. states and territories and countries on five continents. He loves roasting and drinking coffee and is an avid outdoorsman, as well as a bibliophile.
Mac will shortly be releasing a series of books he has written on project management and is currently writing a book on leadership entitled “LEAD!: Important Actions of a Leader.”
