Description of Presentation: Dare to Lead™ is designed to help individuals and teams develop courage-building skills and move from armored leadership to daring leadership. Created by Dr. Brené Brown, a research professor at the University of Houston, the Dare to Lead™ program is based on Dr. Brown’s most significant finding from her research: That courage is a collection of four skill sets that are teachable, measurable and obtainable.
Learning Objective: Christy Erbeck, a Certified Dare to LeadTM Facilitator, will share the four skill sets of courage—Rumbling with Vulnerability, Living into Our Values, Braving Trust and Learning to Rise—and some techniques you can use to immediately apply these skill sets to your work and life.

Christy Erbeck
Christy Erbeck, an AgileThought Principal Transformation Consultant, has over 25 years’ experience in domestic and international speaking, consulting, training, and coaching, working in both software development and non-product focused environments, including manufacturing (discrete and process), distribution, and sales & marketing. Christy has trained and worked with thousands of individuals worldwide, from nontechnical roles (e.g., in transportation, coal processing), to software developers, sales, and high-level executive leaders. She is an inspirational speaker and workshop advocate on topics as wide ranging as play in the workplace to courageous leadership in an agile environment. She is a compassionate and courageous collaborator who energizes others, strengthens organizational effectiveness and increases employee growth and retention. She is deeply passionate about engaging employees and clients, coaching and developing others, all to inspire positive and lasting change that makes organizations better. Christy co-authored Roadmap to Success, a compilation of thoughts from some of America’s top intellectual minds (Ken Blanchard, Deepak Chopra, and others) on mapping out successful business strategies, including understanding employee engagement to improve profitability. Christy holds several industry certifications, including a SPC 5.0, and SPS, earned a Master’s degree in Industrial and Organizational Psychology, is a DISC practitioner and Certified Human Behavior Consultant, and a Certified Dare to LeadTM Facilitator.
