Dr. Brandial Bright has become one of the leading authorities in Autonomous Vehicles (AVs) in South Carolina. Her recent thesis on Human and Technology Factors in Fully Automated Autonomous Vehicles exposed the gaps in approach and design in the current struggle to create safe autonomous vehicles.

 Brandial Bright (Ph.D.) is more than ready to take on the established thinking of those who find self-driving cars unfathomable. Dr. Bright received her B.Sc. from the University of South Carolina, where she enrolled at age 16. She obtained her Master of Business in Technology Management from the University of Phoenix and completed her Ph.D. at Robert Morris University.

Dr. Bright grew up in Salley, South Carolina, and has spent most of her corporate career at DHL and Volvo Cars. She saw the emergence of self-driving vehicles (AVs) in various positions, including Regulatory Trade and Compliance. Dr. Bright is the managing partner at Fifth Level Consulting, a firm dedicated to the acceleration of policy and practice of manufacturing AVs in the U.S.

Dr. Bright is an accomplished author with many published articles and a well-recognized speaker. She finds relaxation in reading and being a mom to her daughter.
