In this session, we will learn how PMOs in twelve companies from various industry sectors identified the key critical success factors for a successful agile implementation. We will also explore the challenges they faced and how they were overcome.

 

Learning Objectives:

• Understand the two dynamic forces impacting PMOs today.

• Enumerate the top 5 barriers to Agile adoption as reported by VersionOne in their State of Agile Report.

• Recount the “one” thing each of the 12 PMOs did to successfully implement Agile in their organizations.

• Describe the advantages of having an actively engaged executive sponsor spearheading Agile adoption.

• Compare Telstra’s approach to Agile adoption through engaged sponsors to the approach used in one’s organization.
