Here are some vacant positions that need to be filled:
Board Members (Time Commitment – 25-35/hours/month):
VP of Administration - Responsible for addressing governance and policy issues, including ensuring the maintenance and enforcement of chapter policies and bylaws. Also responsible for chapter-based marketing and public relations to increase awareness of both the chapter and the PMI brand within the territory. Oversees the activities of the Director of Governance, Director of Technology and Director of Marketing.
Directors (Time Commitment – 10-15/hours/month):
- PDD Director – Responsible for planning, coordinating and monitoring the annual Professional Development Day events. Reports to the Vice-President of Professional Development.
- Director of Governance - Ensure the chapter policies are consistent and compliant with all applicable governmental jurisdiction and regulations (e.g., IRS, government compliance, PMI policy, Sarbanes Oxley – local laws and regulations). Review and update bylaws and ensure they are in alignment with PMI Chapter Charter. Ensure the chapter bylaws are upheld and enforced. Develop and maintain policy manual. Ensure and oversee roles/function definitions. Develop and implement succession and transition plan.
- Director of Technology - Responsible for all aspects of chapter technology including acquisition of technology, support/maintenance of technology, data analytics, technology governance and long-range and annual planning of technology in accordance with any current or future PMI procedures and guidelines. Reports to the Vice-President of Administration.
