Kanban boards have been around for a while now and are still largely misunderstood. We’ll discuss the nature of Kanban boards and their five elements. We’ll demonstrate how Kanban boards can help you:
- Simplify your projects.
- Communicate more effectively.
- Limit your work in progress.
- Be more flexible.
We’ll also provide you with digital Kanban board templates to help get you started.

He is the founder and Chief Learning Evangelist of M.A.Curfman Learning, a global training and coaching firm, the founder and Chief Coffee Guru of Mac's Java Coffee Roasters, a specialty coffee roasting company, and the founder and Executive Director of Go Global, Inc., a not-for-profit organization doing leadership development work in West Africa, North Africa, and the Middle East.
Mac has built an illustrious and successful career by serving others! He has served as a senior consultant in a top national consulting firm and as the founder and CEO of a governmental advisory practice. He also spent a decade serving in government as a city manager and, previously, as an urban and regional planner.
Well-traveled, Mac thrives in diverse cultures. He has traveled to and worked in 46 U.S. states and territories and in countries on five continents. He regularly travels to and works in Senegal, where he will spend three months later this year.
He loves roasting and drinking coffee, is an avid outdoorsman, and is a bibliophile (reading about 100 books a year).
