Director of Awards
Under the VP of Membership the Director of Awards works with the VP of Programs to plan, budget, select, and deliver global PMI and chapter awards to chapter members for their outstanding contributions to the Project Management profession and their volunteer contributions to the South Carolina PMI Midlands Chapter.
Description of activities:
1. Maintain a database of volunteer chapter members (name, PMI member number, date, activities, & accomplishments).
2. Prepare recognition certificates and present to volunteer chapter members at the PMI Midlands Annual Dinner meeting.
3. Select recognition giveaways and present to volunteer chapter members at the PMI Midlands Annual Dinner meeting
a. Obtain board approval of giveaways and budget.
4. Submit Volunteer of the Year AwardApplication for outstandingchapter member volunteers to PMI Global.
a. Assist volunteer chapter members in completing the necessary documentation for award submissions within timelines specified by PMI Global.
